By Rail from major airports

• Stanstead: Take the Stanstead Express Train to Liverpool Street Station: you then take the underground train to Kings Cross Station, followed by a mainline train to Hitchin Station.
• Heathrow: Take the Piccadilly Line on the underground this takes you to Kings Cross mainline station to Hitchin.
• Gatwick: Take the Thames Link Train from Gatwick to Luton Railway Station than take a taxi to Hitchin. We are 9 miles away. Or the Gatwick Express will deliver you to London Victoria Underground Station Where you could the board a train to Kings Cross Underground and Mainline Station. From Kings Cross you take a mainline train to Hitchin.

By Road

• From the M1: Take the M1 to junction 10. Follow the A505 ring road around Luton heading towards Hitchin. At Hitchin continue on the A505, following the signs to Stevenage and A1(M). At the large roundabout at the top of the hill take the first exit, sign posted Hitchin Town Centre (you will pass the Three Moorhens Pub on your left). The Lord Lister Hotel is a further 500 yards on the right, off a mini roundabout.
• From the A1(M): Take the A1(M) to junction 8. Take the exit sign posted A602 to Luton airport and Hitchin, follow this road for approximately three miles. At the first roundabout take the fourth exit sign posted Hitchin Town Centre (you will pass the Three Moorhens Pub on your left). The Lord Lister Hotel is a further 500 yard on the right, off a mini roundabout.
